Annette is a senior manager with responsibility for the firm’s internal management and compliance frameworks, playing a central role in ensuring that the firm consistently meets its professional and operational standards. She is highly experienced in overseeing processes, supporting colleagues, and maintaining the structured systems required for a well-run and client-focused practice.

Alongside her management responsibilities, Annette has extensive experience working with new build residential development sites. She maintains active involvement in the setting up of development sites and the progression of plot sales, working closely with David Raybould to support developers from initial instruction through to completion. Her practical knowledge of development work and her ability to coordinate teams make her a key point of contact for this area of the firm’s practice.

Quality Standards, Compliance & Development Work

Annette is instrumental in maintaining the firm’s ongoing commitment to industry-recognised quality standards, including Lexcel and the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS).

• Lexcel is the Law Society’s legal practice quality mark, recognising excellence in practice management, client care, and risk management
• CQS is the Law Society’s quality standard for residential conveyancing practices, designed to ensure consistent high standards, transparency, and professionalism for home-moving clients

Annette oversees the firm’s compliance with these standards, coordinating audits, monitoring procedures, and embedding best practice across the firm to ensure these commitments are not only met but continuously maintained.
